Robert McIsaac left his positions as Assistant Technical Director and Stage Manager of the Touring Company with the Muskoka Summer Festival in the summer of 1992 to perform in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta. After 10 weeks with the show, the Artistic Director asked Rob to become the Technical Director at the theatre. After 2 years with the Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Rob went to Celebrations Dinner Theatre, also in Edmonton, to help with their faltering productions. Celebrations Dinner Theatre is an interactive theatre experience where everyone is a character. Working as the Theatre Manager, Stage Manager and Lighting/Sound Technician, Rob was able to help them out. A new theatre was opening up in the West Edmonton Mall and they called upon Robert to start it up and he accepted the challenge. Jubilation’s Dinner Theatre was the newest attraction at the largest mall in the world. After his six month contract was up, Robert returned to Muskoka and brought his knowledge and experience with him. So with a packed van, and a successful children's play that he had written, Robert made his way back to Ontario. Over the past twenty years, Robert with his close friend and fellow performer, Jason Stanton has continued to write, direct and perform in interactive musical comedies as well as become the top dj company in Muskoka and surrounding areas.
